The story takes place in fictional japan during the Sengoku era( Medival Japan) where there are powerful clans/families who ruled a divided country. When I mean fictional, I intetionally slapped on mythical races, specifically all of the japanese mythology/folklore I can think of, having them as separate families (kitsune, oni, etc.) at the exception of a foreign elf race portraying as Portuguese traders. These are 2 main characters in the story. Feel free to read about them if you have time. There are 2 main characters in this story......sadly I still haven't thought of a name yet (suggestion?) There is a male character and a female character The male character is a atheist Ronin (masterless Samurai) who wears a warrior monk's clothing ( http://jp.learnoutlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/sohei1.jpg ) He does this so he can travel across provinces without paying fees (and because Ronins can't move to diffrent provinces) He is generally childish and slightly obnoxious in the begging. He is a wannabe drinker and has a weakness for fluffy things. He also has somewhat of an unlimited supply of Mochi The second character is a Kitsune (Fox person) who is a nun at a rural shrine (Miko) She was exiled from the temple due to the male character's actions. Or so she thinks. She is very religious and always scolds the Male character for doing indecent things. She never stepped foot outside of the temple and only ate 2 things: rice and water. As she explores the country she becomes shamefully eager to try new foods and unlike the male character, She can consume a lot of alcohol at to the point where she's drunk. She hates it when anyone touches her tails (she has 2) which the male character does a lot of times. in return she gives an armor-piercing punch to the face. The game should have 3 routes. I only thought of 2. 1st one is called the Tashio (general/commander) route This is where the male character finds himself stopping a religious war between 2 families/races and uniting them. This triggers a series of unfortunate events causing multiple clans to declare war on them (not simultaneously though) the 2nd one is Gaijin (forginer) route which where the 2 characters go on a ship and ends up being attacked by Pirates.
